2010 Summer Seminars for Teachers
The Gilder Lehrman Institute of American History will host 39 history seminars for K-12 history, social studies, and English teachers during the summer of 2010. In addition, Gilder Lehrman will host a National Endowment for the Humanities Summer Institute for School Teachers that will focus on the era prior to the War of Independence and the Industrial Revolution. K-12 educators and National Park Service interpreters are eligible to participate. Public school teachers will receive a full fellowship, which includes room and board, books, and a stipend to offset travel costs. Independent school teachers will be eligible to receive fellowships of up to 50% of the total fees.
