• Teams that Make a Difference

Teams that Make a Difference is an awards program that identifies people who work to improve the education and well-being of young adolescents. Sponsored by Pearson and the NMSA, the program recognizes teams of teachers, administrators, parents, community members, or any combination of these individuals who have created a program, activity, or strategy that focuses on student achievement or connects students with their communities. One grand prize winning team will receive $5,000 and a one-year membership to NMSA, one second place team will receive $1,000 and a one-year membership to NMSA, and one honorable mention team will receive $100 and a one-year membership to NMSA. Winners will be honored at the National Middle School Association's 37th Annual Conference and Exhibit in Baltimore, Maryland, November 4-6, 2010.
