Sponsored by the Muzak Heart & Soul Foundation, Music Matters grants focus on educational reform in school music programs and independent music programs. Grant amounts range between $1,000-12,000 and are made on an annual one-time basis. To be eligible, programs should focus on music education, exist in public schools or non-profits, and serve students regardless of their ability to pay. Schools and programs must also already have a music educator(s) and an existing music program in place.
