Through the Young Scholars Program, the Jack Kent Cooke Foundation selects high-achieving 8th graders with financial need and provides them with high school individualized educational opportunities and support that will enable them to develop their talents and abilities. Previous Young Scholars have received the support and guidance required to evaluate the suitability of their high school environment, supplement their schooling with online courses, select and attend summer academic or enrichment programs, obtain computers, software, or other learning technology, benefit from the nationwide network of Young Scholars, explore their career goals, and more.
