Presidential Awards for Excellence in Mathematics and Science Teaching
The President of the United States recognizes outstanding mathematics and science teachers by bestowing upon them the Presidential Awards for Excellence in Mathematics and Science Teaching (PAEMST). Sponsored by the NSF, the PAEMST program will receive applications from K-6 mathematics and science teachers who have at least five years teaching experience. Winners will receive $10,000 and gifts from a broad range of donors. Awardees and their guests will be honored in Washington, DC, over the course of a week-long celebration.
